Maybe someone could design a [quieter] high bypass version... Seriously, there is something wrong with a glider that is so loud that you have to wear a headset. I was laughing when the video caught the vario jumping all over the place. Do you suppose the jet exhaust was messing up the flow to the TE probe? A jet might get some points for reliable relights and low windage but "jet powered glider" has "oxymoron" writ large. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a purist and I'd love to fly a jet some day - I'd just prefer that it had performance that is better than a Cessna 152! :)
