PASCO EGG under Attack! 9-12-2011

This morning WSC recieved a phone call from a Mr. "Dodo Bird" from Air Sailing.
The "Dodo", aka Ed Lord, is apparently headed to WSC today to collect his offspring "PASCO EGG"
We have brought in a specialist from Germany, "Monique" to cover the scent of "PASCO EGG" by rubbing linseed oil on its outer shell hopefully foiling the Dodo's recovery attempt.
We will post again as information becomes available.

From a quick look at the NAM blipmap and the Sat photo it is going to be tough to do it in a soaring flight, similar to the conditions I had yesterday, but perhaps less OD.

We have not seen nor heard any unidentified flying near Williams.
Looks like the Egg is safe for another day.

Don't look for "any unidentified flying" - dodo birds can't fly.

"Black Hawk" is approaching from Air Sailing.
He has Final Glide to Williams and should arrive here in the next 20 minutes to capture the Egg.
He plans to overnight here and return to in the morning to Air Sailing.

Awesome! Please remind him to announce on region_11 yahoo group by midnight, or I can announce it once it is confirmed. Who knows, maybe someone will try capturing it from Airsailing tomorrow...

Confirmed. The egg has been captured by Air Sailing from Williams at 5:45pm on 9/22/2011

Here is a photo I snapped yesterday of the Sierra Buttes.
Lee mentions he was over these at 16,000 today, on his 85 mile glide to Williams to capture our Egg.
