Wave Alert: Sunday Feb 11 (thx Thomas G & Brent D)
Thanks to Brent Davidson forwarding Thomas Greenhill's snapshot of the Panoche RASP Sunday out look:

My experience of NW winds is poor wave, but this looks strong. some XC potential, but the good news is that WSC is downwind. I'm not able to fly, so someone else pls give a go!

I’ll be damned! I fixated on possible north wind wave on Saturday and almost missed this one. Still think there is also a potential for north wind wave on Saturday, but Sunday definitely looking better. One day or the other, I am planning to come and fly my glider for the first time this year after more than 2 month.

The Williams RASP are not nearly as enthusiastic for Sunday. Saturday looks good for north wind wave up to 12K or so due to direction shift. Could be a decent Butte day.
Tough calls.

So the latest RASP is not so bullish on wave this weekend, but giving the wind forecast I am still expecting some north wind wave on Saturday. I will likely try for the Sutter Butte wave tomorrow, probably will take a tow around noon.
Anyone else?

So Saturday didn’t work out as it was blown out with wind up to 40 knots all day. I bet the Butte wave was working.
Sunday turned out great. Few of us got in the wave. Thomas had a nice flight to Black Butte. I went to Travis and back, getting to nearly 18K. Also tested my ADSB setupand Darryl confirmed it was working well.
