Soaring conditions outlook, as of Thursday 2 pm.
Looking at the rasp, you may be disheartened, but it's too early to call, due to the huge atmospheric changes that are transpiring.
You may review the 48 hr, 5 am Saturday and the the 60 hr 5 PM Saturday charts at 700 mb

You can see the Low is progged to move into our flying area during the day on Saturday. It might happen, it might not, and if it does move in, it may not have as much as a negative effect as is indicated on the current 48 hour RASP. Keep an eye on it.
BTW- they say sunny skies next week.

I'm amazed no one has commented on how good tomorrow is now looking on the rasp, especially with the fine flights flown today by Jim S. and Ramy.
Looks like there are a few more pilots on the schedule to fly.
Pilot meeting will probably be at 10 am. Like it was last week.

Just watched channel 13 wx. Yikes.
Better launch early tomorrow. Rain over Mendos after 12 noon.

I just checked AM rasp. Not as great as it looked yesterday but a fine day in store as I see it. A nice convergence up and down the middle of the valley. Some small chance of showers. Instability between two cold fronts.

Congrats to Ray and to Russ.
You might add to the score sheet that (afaik), others might be listed as a DNC also.
Jim D and I started in the 32, but did not complete (DNC), as did Luke, PS, and Jim S. Kelvin and John launched as well.

Ben, nice job as CD today, and seeing to all the details. Thank you. Good coffee cake and paperwork by Cora, tows by Keri, and thanks to all the staff for their work.

A great day. I couldn't do task as I had to land by 3:30, but still got a cloudstreet to crazy creek, wave down to bessa towers and back to three sisters, then a mid-valley convergence. And first real flight in the fantastic 31.
