    Wave this coming Sunday?

I was just looking at the Panoche Rasp wave parameters, and it is showing wave for Sunday. NWS says a chance for showers.

GG weather also showing it. But appears post frontal? NWS saying long dry trend with north winds following it.

    Luke,
Is the Panoche Rasp the same as the NorCal Rasp? is this the link? https://rasp.nfshost.com/norcal-coast/
What link do you use to see NWS?

    Jim,
Is GG same as Golden Gate? Is this the link you use? http://www.ggweather.com/loops/ncep_loops.htm
Which selection do you make once you go to that page?
What is the link you use to see NWS talking about "... long dry trend with north winds following..."
    Thanks

    Hi Peter,
Yes https://rasp.nfshost.com/norcal-coast/ is what I was looking at. And weather.gov for NWS.

I have my eyes on it, especially since TG is at Williams.

I didn't have any luck following ... weather.gov for NWS.. couldn't find Discussion.
I did fine one discussion at: https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/total_forec...AFDMTR&wfo=MTR

Pilots need the exact addresses of these forecasting tools, so they can review the info on their own.

I plan to delete the VSA page called "Weather - 2018", and replace it with a new page called 'Weather - 2019'
see progress thus far - https://www.valleysoaring.net/weather-2019/

i will continue to revise "Weather - 2019" in the weeks ahead, and I would appreciate if pilots would include the full url for any weather pages they are using to see the good soaring days coming. I'll cut and paste them into the VSA 2019 page, as they become available here on the Forum.

Al inputs will be appreciated by other pilots.

skysight.io is also showing wave on Sunday with the rain decreasing after 11 am?
The surface winds could be a problem...

I’m guessing that skylight” was a typo?
i see good write up on skysight on cumulus soaring
    https://www.cumulus-soaring.com/skysight/.

is it more accurate than rasp for flying within 30 or 40 miles of WSC?

is altitude color scale in meters?
    thanx

Opppsss... Sorry about that. It is skysight.io. They offer a 7 day free trail offer. It is run by 3 glider pilots from Australia and it covers all of the soaring locations across the globe.

I like how it provides many views of the upcoming soaring wx up to 9 days out. skysight.io does appear to be a little bit pessimistic on the convergence and cu's on the Mendos.

The WSC RASP appears to be the most accurate soaring forecast to me, but it only forecasts up to 3 days out.
