Any Questions on ADS-B? - for PASCO Talk

Folks, I'm talking at the PASCO annual meeting in October on ADS-B: Are there any questions you want answered? I plan on covering 2020 regulatory requirements for that will affect some towplanes and talking about the glider exemption and where ADS-B Out is still legally required in gliders, and why you might want it even if not legally required. And I'll cover the practical options of installing ADS-B Out in gliders and towplanes and why that is all 1090ES Out not UAT Out. I also talk about where FLARM fit into all this.

Please post here any questions you have, or things you think are just important to cover, and I'll try to cover them.

Re: Any Questions on ADS-B? - for PASCO Talk

    Darryl,

My selfish questions are: 1) what is the cheapest alternatives to make my "experimental" glider "compliant" and 2) what airspace can I currently enter with a transponder that I cannot enter next summer if I don't have ADS-B. There was some random back-and-forth emails specifically around whether or not you could overfly Reno next summer since this is commonly done now.
