First Solo - Zach Blum

Zachary Blum drove down the mountain to join us at Williams Soaring Center this week.

Saturday Oct 7, 2020 he successfully completed his first glider solo!

He had been working as a lineboy in Truckee this summer and was nearly ready to solo when they closed for the Winter.

Over the past few day he was able meet the standards for Solo Flight. Zac is very aware of his surroundings, and was able to easily avoid the tricky his instructor challenged him with.
