Just a quick note to say hello from VSA staff and give you an update.

First, hoping all had wonderful holidays and wishing everyone a great new year ahead. This past year did not allow for much event planning and we are hoping that 2021 will be a better year in all areas. Until then, we are looking forward to the new Winter Webinar series to help re-engage our soaring community. While we all miss the annual winter seminar dinners and live presentations, we believe these online seminars will be of value to everyone in the meantime. We also would like any suggestions or feedback about the presentations or future topics. This is a new venue, so any feedback is appreciated.

Regarding membership, VSA is extending 2020 paid memberships thru 2021. If you are unsure if you were paid last year just send an email inquiry to vsa@williamssoaring.com. If you have not paid and would like to, you can use the winter webinar entry form, coming soon, and just indicate in the remarks at the bottom that you wish to pay/join VSA then your webinars are free. If paying otherwise, you can send your $20 check to Williams Soaring Center indicating VSA dues for 2021. VSA is also hoping to have some form of a spring race series but its still in the planning stages.

We look forward to seeing everyone again soon. Williams has had several good soaring days of late so stay tuned to the forum for a heads up. Unfortunately, this time of year, weather forecasting is less precise and requires diligence to plan. I believe one of our webinars will cover that topic. Until then be safe and hope to see you at the airport.
