Planning to attend! Forecast improved this morning
I moved some stuff around and will be here and flying.

Sunday looking good too on norcal rasp. Maybe a tad better even!
Saturday and sunday both look really nice to me. Valley/foothill thermals with 7000' or so cloudbase. Sunday looks a touch dryer, saturday a touch more developed. Hard to choose... maybe both!
Hey Everyone we are super excited about flying tomorrow!
This look like it may be the first super busy day at Williams and we would very much like to have a fun safe day. We think it is important to have a short safety talk/ Pilots meeting before everyone launches.
the pilots meeting will be at 11:30 we will have it outside in front of the office in the rigging area to meet everyone's comfort level.
See you all tomorrow!!
Ben
This is a great call. I will also have my usb stick with the latest flarm firmware on it so that everyone will have the opportunity to have an operating flarm![]()
Alex, good call! Just make sure your USB stick doesn’t contain your config file.
I’ll be flying from Byron, possibly north towards Williams.

Safety Meeting held by Ben looks like it was well attended.
Since I'm flying tomorrow (with my friend Tom J) and the conditions are fcst to be similar, I'm watching all of today's activities closely.
Like Kempton said, it's nice to see so many gliders getting ready to go.
I count 10 gliders all rigged not counting the ones in the hangar that are ready to go.
Here's hoping the tracking systems will be working today so I can observe the routes as they are flown.
