Landout airport check: Bob's and Sunrise (N of Knight's Landing)

So after Evan's and my "real estate" tour of Bob's on Friday, I decided to check them out on my way home.

They are both very FNX friendly, that is, long, WIDE good quality runway with no obstacles to catch a wing. Very aero retrievable. Bob's:

While taking these pics, the staff were clearing weeds and small brush from the sides of the runway. There is also a section next to the road with no fence, so if the dirt was hard enough, you could drive across that.

Gates at both ends for Bob's and here at Sunrise, about 2 miles north of Bob's:

Good info Kempton. Did you have any radio conversations with NorCal over the radio while you were in that area?

I had to use google maps to help me get oriented....

Yes, as Evan is also a power pilot, he handled coms as we neared and were in the Sac Class C airspace. They were very accommodating and basically asked us to stay W of Sac River.

Peter's map shows Sunrise Duster's Airport south of Bob's Flying service. The San Francisco Sectional chart shows Sunrise Duster's north of Bob's where the Williams database shows Wagner Aviation? The Williams database should be corrected to agree with the Sectional. Anyone know how to do that?

Google Earth agrees with Peter's map and shows Sunrise Duster's in the middle of a cultivated field south of Bob's Flying Service and shows Wagner Aviation where the Sectional shows Sunrise Duster's, so Google Earth is incorrect and should be changed. Anyone know how to do that?

Sunrise Dusterís Airport use to be Wagner Aviation years ago. The actual address for Sunrise Dusterís Airport is the same as the address for what was Wagner Aviation. 17690 California 113, Robbins, CA 95676. The runway is just southeast of the town of Robbins. To get the actual address you have to go to their website. Not sure why Google is showing the address it is using. Perhaps this is their business office.
